Established 17 years ago, Euro Petroleum Consultants’ BBTC – Bottom of the Barrel Technology Conference series remains the only event focusing on technologies, project trends and equipment innovations relating to residue upgrading in refineries. The conference taking place from 3-4 December in Bahrain, has become one of the most insightful events for the refining industry in the Middle East, especially as more and more focus is given to residue upgrading.

Following the BBTC MENA Conference, the Middle East Catalyst Technology Conference (ME-CAT) will take place from 5-6 December. ME-CAT is an event fully focused on bringing together catalyst suppliers, licensors, contractors, service providers and end users for a unique opportunity to exchange on the latest catalyst developments.
Catalytic processes are at the heart of all refineries and petrochemical complexes. With the recent drive for increased integration, the number of units using modern catalysts has increased significantly. The right catalyst solution can improve margins, achieve better product quality, higher yields and longer cycle lengths – all this with relatively small investment.
